Senior Sales Manager/ Director (MICE)

Our client, a leading destination in Singapore’s premier events and convention space, is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Senior Sales Manager/ Director
to lead their digital revenue strategy and oversee a team managing online sales of event and function spaces. This role is ideal for a commercially driven leader with a strong background in digital sales, venue marketing, or hospitality, and a passion for shaping how large-scale venues engage customers in an increasingly digital world.

You will play a pivotal role in expanding online-led revenue channels, building strategic partnerships, and leading a high-performing sales team, while collaborating with cross-functional departments to deliver a seamless, tech-enabled client experience at one of Singapore’s most iconic venues.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the overall strategy for online-led space rentals and sales across digital channels
  • Drive digital acquisition and conversion for venue bookings, with a focus on private events, corporate meetings, and regular-use clients such as community groups and professional organizations
  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of online sales managers to achieve individual and team KPIs
  • Identify and secure new digital business partnerships and platform collaborations
  • Own the full online sales cycle—from lead generation and virtual client engagement to deal closing and post-sales coordination
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and product teams to ensure alignment of digital offerings with commercial goals
  • Monitor and forecast revenue performance, optimizing pricing strategies and channel mix
  • Represent the organization at key industry events, conferences, and networking engagements, both locally and overseas
  • Drive innovation in the customer journey, ensuring a seamless, tech-enabled experience for clients from inquiry to event execution

Role requirements

  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in sales, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role overseeing digital or online B2B/B2C channels
  • Strong commercial instincts and an ability to build strategic partnerships with stakeholders across various industries
  • A proven track record of growing digital revenue streams in hospitality, venues, or commercial property environments
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and develop high-performing sales teams
  • Experience in high-volume, fast-paced environments with a hands-on approach to change and transition management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • An international outlook and comfort working with diverse stakeholders and cultures
  • A strong digital-first mindset with experience using CRM tools and online sales platforms
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, depending on event schedules

 

Preferred Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related fields
  • Candidates with international exposure or backgrounds are especially encouraged to apply
  • Understanding of the APAC event landscape is an advantage
  • Prior experience working in a digitally driven venue, hospitality, or events-focused environment will be highly regarded
