Key responsibilities

  • Support Portfolio Managers with trade execution, order placement, market monitoring, and liquidity sourcing across APAC markets.
  • Manage the full trade lifecycle, including booking, confirmations, settlements, and complex reconciliations of trade, position, and cash breaks.
  • Monitor portfolio risk, daily P&L, and margin requirements while ensuring accurate and timely desk operations.
  • Act as a key liaison with prime brokers, clearers, middle office, and compliance teams, while identifying opportunities to automate processes and improve operational efficiency.

Role requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline, with 5-8 years of experience in trade support, middle office, or trading assistant roles.
  • Strong understanding of APAC financial markets, with exposure to asset classes including FX, fixed income and rates, equities, credit, and commodities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with key Bloomberg functions for market analysis and trading support.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Python, VBA, or SQL, with the ability to develop tools and automate desk processes to improve operational efficiency.
