Key responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of recruiters to deliver high-quality contract staffing across IT requirements.
  • Act as an individual contributor on generic / niche and senior-level IT mandates while ensuring team productivity and target achievement.
  • Strong expertise in end-to-end IT hiring, including understanding technical skill sets, job requirements, and client expectations.
  • Proven experience working on ATS platforms for workflow management, candidate tracking, reporting, and process optimization.
  • Serve as an SME in sourcing, leveraging both traditional methods (job portals, referrals, databases) and advanced sourcing techniques (Boolean search, X-ray search, social recruiting, GitHub/StackOverflow sourcing, talent communities).
  • Drive Recruiter performance reviews, coaching, and continuous improvement initiatives for the recruitment team.
  • Ensure timely fulfilment of contract staffing requirements with quality submissions and minimal TAT.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to understand workforce plans and upcoming staffing needs.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor intelligence, and new sourcing tools to enhance hiring efficiency and strategies.

Role requirements

  • 8 yrs to 15 yrs of experience in IT recruitment, preferably in contract hiring.
  • Strong understanding of IT roles, technologies, and industry trends.
  • Proficiency in sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri, Monster, Indeed, etc.).
  • Experience in Team Handling, vendor management, contract negotiations, and rate discussions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple requirements.
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is a plus.
