Financial Accountant

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full set of accounts, including AP, AR, GL, and month-end closing activities.
• Prepare accurate financial statements, intercompany reconciliations, and supporting schedules in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including GST filings, tax computations, and regulatory reporting.
• Manage government grant applications, tracking, and related reporting requirements.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and internal stakeholders for audit and reporting purposes.
• Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness of finance operations.
