HR Manager

The HR Manager at TECS will be responsible for overseeing the entire contractor lifecycle and ensuring seamless HR operations. This role demands a strategic HR professional with 10+ years of experience, including significant experience in staffing companies. The HR Manager will play a critical role in managing HR processes, ensuring compliance, driving employee engagement, and supporting business objectives through effective workforce management.

Key responsibilities

  • Contractor Lifecycle & Workforce Management:
  • Oversee the end-to-end contractor management process, including offer releases, background verification (BGV), onboarding, offboarding, and exit formalities.
  • Maintain and optimize an accurate and up-to-date contractor database.
  • Ensure smooth workforce planning and deployment in alignment with business requirements.
  • HR Operations & Compliance:
  • Ensure efficient execution of HR functions such as payroll inputs, timesheet tracking, and statutory compliance.
  • Maintain and manage HRIS for accuracy, compliance, and reporting purposes.
  • Develop and present HR reports, including Talent Acquisition (TA) metrics and operational insights.
  • Ensure adherence to labor laws and industry-specific HR regulations, including those relevant to staffing and contracting firms.
  • Employee Relations & Engagement:
  • Design and implement employee engagement strategies to foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Address and resolve employee grievances, ensuring fair and timely dispute resolution.
  • Facilitate regular communication forums to enhance transparency and feedback.
  • Performance Management & Talent Development:
  • Oversee performance management processes, including performance evaluations, feedback mechanisms, and coaching sessions for contractors.
  • Provide guidance and support to hiring managers on performance-related concerns.
  • Develop and implement training initiatives to enhance workforce skills and competencies.
  • Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning:
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, particularly for contractor and workforce needs.
  • Develop strategic sourcing methods to attract top talent.
  • Build relationships with staffing vendors and external recruitment partners to streamline hiring processes.
  • Compliance & Policy Development:
  • Ensure that all HR policies align with legal and industry standards, particularly in the staffing and contracting sectors.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and compliance checks.
  • Implement best practices to enhance HR efficiency and compliance.

Role requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in HR, with significant experience in staffing companies and contractor workforce management.
  • Proven track record in managing HR operations, compliance, and employee relations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Deep understanding of HR operations, payroll management, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and workforce management tools.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities, deadlines, and workforce challenges effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
